COLENORM PLUS

Product description

COLENORM PLUS is a food supplement containing fermented red rice titrated in monacolin K, policosanols, resveratrol and chromium.

COLENORM PLUS acts thanks to the synergy of his active ingredients.

Fermented red rice is obtained by fermenting common rice, Oryza sativa, through a particular yeast called Monascus purpureus; during its fermentation activity, this yeast enriches itself with a group of substances, called monacolines, which have cholesterol-lowering activity. Among these, the most produced is monacolin K.

Resveratrol is a polyphenol extracted from Polygonum cuspidatum roots, with antioxidant properties.

Policosanols (a mixture of aliphatic extracts from rice bran) whose active component octacosanol acts on cholesterol metabolism by reducing the plasmatic levels of LDL and increasing the levels of HDL. They also possess antioxidant properties.

Chromium is involved in the metabolism of macronutrients and, in particular, the maintenance of regular blood glucose levels.

EMEFORT

Product description

EMEFORT is a food supplement containing iron, vitamin C, zinc and folic acid.

Iron contributes to blood production, to the normal oxygen transportation through the body, to weariness and fatigue reduction and to the normal functioning of the immune system. EMEFORT contains a ferric pyrophosphate-based preparation, encapsulated within a special membrane (liposomal iron) that allows its high gastrointestinal absorption and higher availability without side effects (diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and heartburn) that may appear after iron intake.

Vitamin C increases iron absorption.

Folic acid contributes to the normal haemopoiesis, wich is the process of formation and development of blood cells.

Product description

LENILUTS is a food supplement containing tumeric and pine bark extracts formulated with UROBASP® technology, with an important antioxidant activity.

Product description

NORMOCIS400 is the unique and complete food supplement, at physiological dosage, useful in hyperhomocysteinemia control, a risk factor for the development of vascular diseases.

PVS34 is a DIETARY FOOD FOR SPECIAL MEDICAL PURPOSES containing proteins, amino acids, vitamins and minerals, recommended in case of malnutrition.

It contains 34 nutritional elements:

Proteins from ultra filtered milk serum (whey proteins): they have a high biological value (104) and a great essential amino acid percentage; they act like immunostimulants and keep high glutathione values (an important intracellular antioxidant). They are also able to support muscle and connective reconstruction processes and keep nitrogen balance normal.

Casein: its biological value is lower than the whey proteins’ (77) and its digestion is slower as well as its amino acids bioavailability. This phenomenon is firstly responsible for its anticatabolic action and its slower and more lasting amino acids bioavailability.

Glutamine: it’s an amino acid that represents the main source of energy for enterocytes and immunocytes. Furthermore, L-glutamine is able to enhance several functional parameters of the immune system.

Arginine: it’s an amino acid which is present in all living things proteins. It’s synthetised by the body in normal conditions and its deficiency is rare (patients affected by rare genetic disorders, traumas and burns). Other than being essential to proteins synthesis, it is useful in detoxification process of ammonia created during the nitrogen catabolism (contained in amino acids through the urea formation). Its integration may exert antiatherogenic, antioxidant and immunomodulating actions.

Evening primrose oil: extracted from the Oenothera biennis plant seeds; it is particularly rich in gamma-linoleic acid (omega 6 series), polyunsaturated fat that exerts an antinflammatory and antithrombotic action. The essential fatty acids are important structural components of cell membranes, serve as precursors to bioactive lipid mediators, and provide a source of energy. Just like hormones, eicosanoids regulate several fundamental physiological functions such as the tone of vascular wall and the haematic fluidity, the nervous system devolopment and functionality, the correct thyroid function. They also keep the skin soft and flexible and regulate the immune system activity and the inflammatory reactions.

MCT (Medium Chain Triglicerides) fatty acids or medium chain triglycerides (6 to 12 carbon atoms) are very efficiently converted into fuel for immediate use by organs and muscles. They inhibit inflammatory cytokines production and do not affect LDL levels. MCT also make vitamin E more bioavailable,

Vitamins B2, B6 and B12, C, PP and H, pantothenic acid, phosphorus, manganese, calcium, copper, iodine and iron contribute to the normal energetic metabolism.

Product description

SYNAID is a food supplement containing bacopa, theanine, saffron, copper and vitamins. Bacopa is useful for facilitating memory, cognitive functions and mental well-being. Saffron helps to stabilize mood swings. Biotin, vitamin B12 and vitamin B6 contribute to normal psychological function and, like copper, to normal nervous system functioning. Folic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 reduce tiredness and fatigue.

Bacopa (Bacopa monnieri dry extract titrated at 25% equal to 80 mg of bacosides) contains substances called bacosides that possess nootropic properties which increase the release of neurochemical agents (neurotransmitters, hormones and enzymes) and that optimize the oxygen supply to the brain thus improving memory and cognitive functions. Furthermore, bacosides are neuroprotective due to the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties they possess.

Theanine improves cognitive functions, attention, emotional state, relaxation and sleep quality.

Saffron (Crocus sativus dry extract titrated at 5% equal to 1.5 mg of crocin) contains crocin, a substance that stabilizes mood as it possesses antidepressant and anti-inflammatory properties able to improve learning and memory.

Folic acid, copper and vitamins have an important role in the maintenance of the integrity of the nervous system and their lack has been linked to both cognitive deterioration and dementia. B group vitamins, moreover, are cofactors for synapsis and neuronal membrane formation. In particular vitamin B6 is also involved in regulating mental and mood functions. Folic acid, vitamins B6 and vitamin B12 help to fight weariness and fatigue.
